Picking the Right Dog from a Shelter

With so many dogs at shelters, the process of selecting one can feel overwhelming. Many potential adopters have difficulty choosing the RIGHT adult dog that fits their lifestyle. Every dog at a shelter has their own story and background, and most of the time the facility doesn’t have the dog’s complete history. The best way to put your mind at ease is to have your prospective new pet evaluated by one of our trainers.

Our trainers have a combined 30  years of experience observing every kind  of dog imaginable. We’ll evaluate each dog that you’re interested in and our trainer will give a behavioral synopsis that you can use to make a better-informed decision.
This program is intended for both adult dogs and puppies and includes the following:
Our trainer will go with you to observe the prospective dog and provide feedback and guidance to the client.
We will educate you on how to introduce the newly adopted pet to their new environment with an emphasis on people, sounds, objects and other dogs.
